The Hour of Code
This week, code.org, not for profit supported by a large coalition of educational and technological institutions, promotes the Hour of Code, an educational program to teach children and adolescents how to code computers. A good skill in today’s world, coding also promotes logical thinking, planning, and teamwork. At Children’s House, we focus on the physical world in Primary and Lower Elementary. We will start optional coding classes in Upper Elementary. Check out code.org to learn more about coding for children.
